Rotafix P12 Primer is a solvent free 2-part unfilled epoxy primer used to prepare surfaces prior to the application of epoxy mortars and screeds.
Rotafix P12 Primer can be used to assist adhesion between old and new concrete and is suitable for coating masonry and metallic surfaces such as reinforcing steel, stainless steel, aluminium and copper.
This tack primer can be brush, squeegee,trowel or roller applied.
P12 Primer conforms to the Water Research Council test requirements of BS6920 for use in potable water situations.
1 litre will cover 3m2 on concrete and 5m2 steel, with a pot life of 20-30 minutes it will be touch dry in 3 hours based on a room temperature of 20 Deg C. Ideally subsequent coats should be applied whilst the P12 is tacky and not fully dry.
